Syed Mir Hassan was the popular scholar of Quran, Sufism and Arabic linguistic. He was born in 1844 and died in 1929. He was also the educationist of prominent personalities known as Faiz Ahmad Faiz and Sir Muhammad Allama Iqbal. The books written by him had given a lot of inspiration to people. He was also awarded with the title of “Shams al-Ulama”.
