Shamim Hanfi was a beautiful poet, critic and a dramatist, who was born in Sultanpur on 17th May 1939. He has written many magnificent books on poetry, which are liked by vast majorities of poetry loving people all over the world. He has written books like Jadidyat ki Falsafiyan Asas, Ghazal ka Naya Manzarnama and many more.
