In London today, Altaf Hussain party chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has given a statement that the non-issuance of his National Identity Card is a political revenge. Altaf Hussain said that being a Pakistan it is my right to be granted with a Pakistani ID card and a passport.
Temporarily, Rabitta Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has intensely condemned the tactics of Interior Minister for not issuing National Identity Card and passport of Altaf Hussain. Rabitta Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has also announced to do a protest in front of NADRA head office, which is located on the SSShahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi today.
Rabita Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) regarding Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also gave a statement that he is putting hurdles in the issuance of ID card and passport and moreover has made it an ego issue. Rabita Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) also have made a demand that President and Prime Minister of Pakistan should take serious notice of this issue and issue the National Identity Card and passport of Altaf Hussain on immediate basis.
Rauf Siddiqui Central Executive Council in-charge of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has made a request to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to sack Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan from his post due to this matter. He also made a demand that party membership of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan should also be suspended.
