NTDC Claims Temporary End of Country's Load Shedding

NTDC spokesperson said that the supply of furnace oil and gas has been increased to the all the powerhouses. NTDC will issue a new load-shedding schedule in accordance to the demand and supply gap of electricity.

In Lahore today, National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) has claimed that the countrywide load shedding of electricity has been stopped for the time being. NTDC said that the load shedding of electricity is stopped temporarily due to the pleasant weather conditions after heavy rainfalls.

The gap between demand and supply of electricity has been shortened due to the pleasant weather. NTDC said that a new schedule of load shedding would be issued soon. Spokesperson of NTDC said that demand and supply of electricity is connected as both the demand and production of electricity is currently fixed at 11,000 megawatts, which is making the time being end of load shedding possible.
