Pakistan’s cricket team captain Misbahul Haq in a press conference has said that team effort is required to improve the performance of team. Only individual efforts aren’t sufficient for victory. “We need to rethink our strategy”, he said after losing the match from West Indies and setting a record of worst start of innings in international matches. Pakistan did shameful opening of the innings and lost four wickets for one run.
“I don’t want to blame anyone for the defeat and we just need to reconsider our strategy because we failed in all departments of the game”, he added. Misbah admitted that team has poorly performed in all departments, there is no space of ifs and buts and it’s time to do or die, he gave the answer for of his game strategy for Zimbabwe.
He further said that Pakistani team is now in danger and it’s essential for us to resist well to assure our presence in World Cup. For success, we must forget the previous two defeats and learn from our mistakes to win the next match. He also mentioned the false decision for opting bowling decision thinking that the conditions are favorable for bowlers.
After losing match from West Indies Pakistan is now in Pool B with two losses, one from India and one from West Indies.
