In Karachi today, FBI agent Joel Cox, who was accused of carrying ammunition leaves for Dubai, after local court drops his case. According to the sources, in the hearing of the case in Malir Judicial Magistrate Court, FBI agent Joel Cox appeared in court with person amid tight security.
Lawyer of FBI agent Joel Cox briefed the court that, his client was on a special mission in Pakistan and also had the permission to carry ammunition with him. Lawyer of FBI agent also presented a special letter from the US embassy in court in this regard.
Malir Judicial Court ordered to verify this letter from the interior ministry and after that from Sindh Home Department. After issuing these orders the court dismissed the case.
