Police spokesperson said that, the FIR has been registered on the behalf of police because Hamid Mir was not in the condition to lodge a case.

In Karachi today, reports are being received that; FIR of attack on Geo News senior news reporter Hamid Mir have been registered by the Karachi police. Conferring to the reports it is found that, FIR against the unidentified attackers, who attacked Geo News senior reporter Hamid Mir have been registered by the Karachi police.

In the reports it is found that, the FIR of attack on Hamid Mir is registered on the behalf of Shahadat Khan sub-inspector under section 15 of Anti-Terrorism Act and 427 and 324/34 of PPO at the Airport police station. According to the FIR report it is found that, the Geo News senior news reporter was attacked under the Jinnah overhead bridge.
