First live video call was made using Mobilink free trial 3G services in a morning show hosted by Juggan Kazim on Pakistan Television (PTV). A live caller was taken on call, through video calling 3G services by Mobilink in the morning show. This is a publicity campaign of Mobilink free 3G trial services to make the people understand what is the worth of 3G services.
In Pakistan, Mobilink free 3G services have made possible for the common user to watch the video along with audio to which he/she is calling on his 3G enabled smartphone. Today with Skype, Viber and other similar services paired with rapid mobile communications launched by various telecom operators all those dream communication is going to become reality.
Mobilink has won the 3G-spectrum license in the auction of 3G and 4G licenses organized by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. After Mobilink, Telenor has also given free video call facility on their free 3G trial services. After the official license award ceremony of 3G and 4G licenses all the telecom operators who have won 3G and 4G licenses in the auction will launch their commercials of tariffs of 3G and 4G services packages.
