Government of Pakistan has approved the summary to reduce the prices of Petroleum product. According to notification, Petroleum prices will be reduced up to 2.95 rupees per liter. The notification is applicable from 1 October, 2014.

The adjusted prices include Petrol 103.62 rupees per liter as petrol price has been reduced by 2.95 rupees per liter. High Octane Blended component is now priced at 131.13 with 1.88 rupees price cut, high speed diesel is priced at 107.39 with a reduction of 0.95 rupees, Kerosene Oil is priced at 95.60 rupees with 1.31 rupees price cut while light diesel oil is priced at 91.46 rupees with 0.67 rupees price cut.
 
The Prices are applicable with effect from today 12:00 AM midnight. On the other hands, Ministry of Petroleum has said that the recent Islamabad Sit-ins causing damage to economy, if these sit-ins were ended earlier, then the masses would have received a relief of 6 rupees price reduction in Petrol as well.
