The Federal Minister of Water and Power of Pakistan also gave a suggestion of early closure of markets in the provinces. He also said that, Sindh and Azad Kashmir has given hope to pay the pending dues as soon as possible.
In Islamabad today, Khawaja Asif Pakistan Federal Minister of Water and Power gave a statement regarding load shedding that it will not end till 2018 in the country, but it will decrease. Khawaja Asif gave this statement while talking to the news reporters and also said that Pakistan is currently sustaining 1000 billion rupees annual loss in power generation.
Khawaja Asif said that the loss is because of the government institutions of Sindh defaults of 53 billion rupees, 5 billion in Azad Kashmir, 4 billion in Punjab and 1 billion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Federal Minister of Water and Power of Pakistan Khawaja Asif said that it is expected that Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan will clear the pending dues till June.
