The Spokesman of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority said that they got the complaints against GEO TV to spread Blasphemy content on air. On Yesterday Morning on GEO TV, the management of GEO TV aired the video of Veena Malik Marriage with Assad Khatak.
 
The Spokesman said that they have sent the complaints to council of complaints to deal with matter. Council will report within a week on that matter.
 
The Video was aired in a morning Show hosted by Shaista Lodhi “Utho Jago Pakistan”. The video that was aired named actress Veena Malik with daughter of Holy Prophet P.B.U.H(Hazrat Fatima Zahra R.A), while Assad was named as Ali Haider(R.A) during that Video, public protest start against that move of GEO TV, while Sunni Ittehad Council has declared Watching Geo TV is Haram.
 
On the other hands, the host of “Utho Jago Pakistan” Shaista Lodhi has apologized over the inadvertent mistake for her performance in Wednesday’s Program. She said that she seeks forgiveness from Allah Almighty for her act and involvement over an unintended gaffe which leads to hurt the sentiments of People.
