Petroleum Prices are likely to reduce from very 1st May

OGRA (Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority of Pakistan) has proposed to reduce the prices of Petroleum Products from very first day of May 2014. Finance Ministry will decide the final rates, and on approval of summary by OGRA, the rates will be effective from May 1, 2014.

Those who are using Petrol as a source of energy for transportation, the petrol prices will reduce with a minor change of 34 Paisa only, and the new price of Petrol will be 107.97 per liter from 108.31.
 
The High Speed Diesel is likely to reduce by 4.51 rupees, and the new price of High Speed Diesel is expected to be 109.34 per liter.
 
The Kerosene Oil will reduce by 3.08 rupees per liter and will be available at rupees 98.07 per liter. The light Diesel price is expected to drop 93 paisa per liter and will be available at rupees 93 Rupees per liter.
 
Currently Federal Government of Pakistan is charging 16% as Sales Tax and up to 14 rupees per liter as Petroleum Levy Taxes.
