Flexibility in stance between PTI & Government, prospect of talks

As government indicated the willingness to hold talks with complaining Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), bit of flexibility has been reported in rigid stance of both parties and anticipation is prevailing now that both stake holders may perhaps sit across the table for talks before the given dates by PTI of blocking urban cities of the country.

These encouraging gestures have been witnessed from the senior members of both parties transforming it more significant. As seen in a recent interview on private TV channel while talking to anchor PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi believed if govt try to resume talks by Dec 6, than “I can personally request party chairman Imran Khan to postpone his call to blockade Faisalabad on Dec 8”.

Senior member of PML-N and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, who also headed the negotiating team, had hold talks with PTI in the past, was also part of the same talk show in which Shah Mehmood Qureshi was there. Ishaq Dar said, that if the PTI gave them the guarantee that it would not proceed with the shutdown entitle, “I will reach out to the prime minister so that talks can be resumed by Dec 6 or 7”.

But the hindrance in this regard is that PM Nawaz Sharif is at present in London and is expected back on Dec 6.

Sources are claiming that there is a definite leeway that parties would sit on the table for talks soon, but it residue to be figure out can government understand PTI’s insist for a meticulous exploration of the 2013 general election’s fallout via judicial commission.
