The sale of 3G Spectrum in Pakistan though appreciated by Pakistani Public, however PTA is facing some legal problems against it as an organization. FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) has served a Show Cause Notice to PTA for non paying the Advance Income Tax regarding the sale of 3G and 4G Spectrum.

The sale of 3G Spectrum in Pakistan though appreciated by Pakistani Public, however PTA is facing some legal problems against it as an organization. FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) has served a Show Cause Notice to PTA for non paying the Advance Income Tax regarding the sale of 3G and 4G Spectrum.
 
FBR has summoned the show cause notice to PTA of 10.88 Billion rupees. FBR has declared PTA as Tax Defaulter and has warned PTA to start charging Default Surcharge in this regard.
 
According to rules, PTA is bound to cut 10% as Advance Tax on the sale of 3G and 4G Spectrum. FBR has said to PTA to show the paid receipt of Advance Tax.
