Now a day the, Consumer Courts are playing active role to listen the complaints of Consumers. Punjab Government has established Consumer Courts in 11 Districts of Punjab. The main aim of any Consumer Court is to listen to complaints of Consumers in following cases.
 
The goods are of sub standards
The shop keeper, retail store or organization is selling Expired goods
Goods are selling with fake advertisement or use of name in false terms
No display of Rate List
Absence of ingredients, expiry date and preparation date
Failed to provide sale invoice
 
The Consumer Courts are authorized to fine a plenty of 50,000 rupees in case above mentioned complaints.
