In Islamabad today, reports are being received that; attack on Geo News senior newsperson Hamid Mir is condemned by Senate. According to the reports it is found that, a resolution has been adopted consistently by the upper house of parliament, which condemns the attack on Hamid Mir.

In the reports it is found that, Senate proceedings against the attack on Geo News senior newsperson Hamid Mir was boycotted by the journalists. According to the reports from the Senate it is found that, Nayyar Bukhari Chairman of Senate gave orders to the opposition leader to contact the journalists on immediate basis.
