It is confirmed now that Ufone is going to charge rupees 20/MB from its users using free services of 3G from 24th of may.
It is confirmed via Ufone's Facebook page and SMS received from Ufone that it will charge rupees 20 per MB for its 3G services from 24th may 2014. This 3G internet service was free for users of various cities including Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. But this free service was for a specific period to let people know about the fastest ever speed of 3g network.
But now Ufone is starting to recover its 3G license cost, which was in millions. The charges of Rs.20/Mb is high for users previously using Ufone's GPRS service, its charges were very low in comparison with Ufone 3G's charges, but definately here is a huge difference in speed too.
May be in future Ufone lower its 3G's rates as it's formal for every newly introduced service thet all networks charges higher in starting but after few years they introduces packages with low rates. Hope for the best!
