Waqar Younis was hot favorite for the post of Chief Coach from very first day, however PCB advertised for the post of Chief Coach, but the Chairman PCB announced to appoint Waqar Younis as Chief Coach last day in his interview. This act of PCB Chairman made Candidates for the post of Chief Coach Angry, and they opposed the policy of PCB.
 
Express News revealed that, a candidate for the post Chief Coach said that showed his anger over the decision of PCB Chairman to announce the name of candidate before the expiration of Date set by PCB its self, the candidate mark this as Non-Professional and Immoral.
 
On the other hand, Waqar Younis has also a working contract with Cricket Association of Bengal, The Former Fast Bowler required to work 50 Days a year with Cricket Association of Bengal, while he has signed a 3 Year Contract as well. He is working as T20 Pace Bowling Consultant, while his earning is 6 million Indian Rupees per season.
