The case has registered in Azizabad Police Station in Karachi, on Thursday. The departure was the member of MQM Central Information Committee and MQM spokesperson claims that he was killed in straight fire by ranger’s personal during the raid.
However, the ranger’s spokesperson Colonel Tahir has denied from the statement of MQM spokesperson and said that he himself was present during the raid and during his presence no person was killed. DG Ranger Major General Bilal Akbar has also supported the statement of Colonel Tahir.
The funeral prayer of Waqas Shah was held in at Jinnah ground and large number of party leaders and workers were present at the funeral. He has buried in Shauhda graveyard Yasinababad.
Today, Corps Commander Karachi visited the ranger’s headquarter and examined the recovered weapons. DG Rangers also briefed him about the 27 arrested persons who were wanted to law and enforcement agencies in different crimes. However, Altaf Hussain has rejected the ranger’s statement by saying that the rangers personals brought the weapons in blanket and MQM has no concern to it. Soon after the raid a senior MQM leader while talking to media claimed that the weapons were licensed but rangers had not checked the documents yet.
