The Saudi Government passes new laws against Home Violence while the Human Campaigners have welcomed the decision of Saudi Government. Saudi is marked as a country where Women strives for their rights, while the current decision of Saudi government will change the perception of such people up to some extent.
 
The Saudi Cabinet has approved the bill against Home Violence at Home and at Workplaces as well. The main idea of this law is to provide secure environment to the citizens of Saudi Arabia. Last month, Saudi government asked for application for the seats of female armed soldiers to be appointed with Iran’s Border.
 
The representative of Saudi Arabia researcher for Human Rights Adam Coogle said that, “We welcome the law because it makes crimes such as physical and emotional abuse easier to prosecute and it is a step in the right direction -- but the law has some major drawbacks. I'd urge caution until we see how exactly this law will be implemented and whether domestic abuse cases will now actually be punished in courts."
 
Now the new laws against Home Violence suggest punishment to accused person (Husband) in case of Home Violence, the sentence will depend on the case, while if woman will die from violence of her husband, then the punishment will be according to the Sharia Laws.
 
The new laws will impose fine penalty of 5000 to 50000 SR to accused person in case of Home Violence. The Saudi Government has arrange a workshop against Home Violence in Capital Riyadh.
